However computer access is very limited at this time. www.cstdalumni.org Ravangla IT Education (RITE) Ravangla Tibetan Settlement (Kunphen ling) is located in the mountains about 50km from Gangtok, Sikkim. Due to its remote location and high altitude, the settlement is very limited in means to support itself. An internet connection and IT skills would enable people to stay home and make an income. An IT teaching team is going to Gangtok in Sikkim, and Darjeeling in WB, to teach beginning and advanced web development and general computer use. The Centre wishes to expand its training currciulum to include basic computer skills as well as web development. This center is registered as a charitable organization under the India law.
