It will empower the local Tibetan people and reduce the digital divide between the wired elite Tibetan living in the cities and the unwired Tibetan masses in the remote areas. To implement this, we will invite experts on IT and business skills from India, and volunteers from abroad, to train the youths. Once the trainees get trained, the knowledge will be recycled and given back to new trainees in the settlement, thus generating a continuous cycle of education. The experience and the expertise of the Ravangla settlement will be offered to other remote Tibetan settlements and can be replicated as a model of empowerment and development.
